Proposal

A hidden north-east facing courtyard tucked behind an enclave of houses in Central London. A contemporary interpretation of an English/Mediterranean courtyard garden, which reflects light, adds colour and texture with elements of visual delight.

The brief was to create a versatile space that provided a useful, elegant and interesting exterior room that complimented the style of the house. The proposal was to divide it into two areas, by giving each one a clear and functional purpose. The outdoor kitchen and table has direct access from the kitchen. The sitting area has a water feature. The division was created by interesting, lush sculptural planting in pots.
